Saw the trailer of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, and I fell in love with Ultron from the get-go. Robot + logical evil + James Spader = perfect combination. I just had to paint it while I could.

3-4 hours.

DAMNIT! Finally done! XD This wallpaper has been annoying me since last year - and now I finally got down to finishing it. Doesn't it look great? <3 My first official, serious Assassin's Creed-Fanart! We see Altair in Acre, standing on a rooftop and observing the environment. In his hand there is an eagle's feather, as he has just ended his target's life and tainted it with blood.
As you can see, you can use it as wallpaper - it is available as 2560x1600 pixel wallpaper.

All right, this is the final commission for this year for me!

As some of you recall, I have done another commission for pgrzelak on the IG forums. It is a complementary piece to the previous commission, both contributing to a crucial point in the plot of his story.

The counterpart of this commission can be seen here:



It was a real blast to work on. Both commissions have proven both challenging and wonderful studies in lighting and shading. The things I have learned painting those two pictures are many and important.

As for the picture itself, yes, this time it is Ratchet. It shows how much he resembles his father.

And with this year over, it is time to update my commission prices. Expect an update!

Hey guys and girls, seems like sick Denny is perfect for doing art. And OHSHI-- it's not Lombaxes or Shapeshifters!

Have a Neffy, staring at you. I just wanted to draw a Nefarious and learn his shapes, now look at me, having painted it all out. Yay me for being productive when I should rest!!!

Either way, it's been a while since I've painted something decent. And it's only a head! What the heck.

As for Neffy: Yeah, Pre-CiT. Doesn't mean that he can have some scratches from prior fights. I imagine that some scratches stayed, and weren't taken care of. But that is probably just a headcanon of mine.

I always wanted to try my hand at traditional shading with markers. I remember my sister and me treating the art of marker coloring the epitome of art skills. XD Too bad I sucked too much to use them back then... And had no money, haha.

Well. After searching through my stash of questionable things, I realized that a friend of mine had given me a set of liners as a gift. Turns out there were some really cool grey pen markers in there as well! And yeah, you see I tried it out.


I'll take up Neo's advice and buy a blender marker for next time.

Commissioner's Description:

Based upon a rp me and worked on together where during the Crack in Time game, Ratchet went looking for Alister instead of leaving him alone like he did in the game, finding him on Lumos, and tried to explain what Clank had told him about the Clock, but Alister didn't want to listen to him at first, and during their argument, Alister lost his temper and knocked Ratchet off a bridge, who fell into a small pond below, which was surrounded by tetramites on both sides, and the poor Lombax had broken his leg. Feeling guilty for hurting the young one, and flew down to bring him back up to safety, and once back on the bridge, he carried Ratchet on his back, sadness and guilt on his face for causing himself to hurt another person he cared about once again in life, and Ratchet was clinging to him while being carried, tears staining his fur from the pain he felt.

I will never give up hope to have a game in which there are night missions and we get to do side quests and all this with RaC. But we'll see into which direction this series develops.


This is a speedpaint. 2 hours on the dot. Every day I do a speedpainting with no more than 2 hours time. This is the third one I did.

XD... Ah... I love this wallpaper. And before you ask: The glowing points respond to the light tones at the beginning of Muse' song "Map of the Problematique". <3 Everytime I hear them I want to tap the air like a keyboard! Since I can't do that, Ratchet has to. <3

So this is the reason why I did not post anything in a long time. A commission! And a huge one, as you might figure.

This is the first of two painted commissions for a friend of mine, and quite enjoyable, and challenging to do. Since it is RAC-related too, it was even more fun to do!

Either way, this is not Ratchet. Technically, it's Ratchet's dad, but not from the canon storyline [Kaden] as the scene depicted here was envisioned before Kaden's appearance. Either way a real blast to work on!

Yes, another new cover for SS. We decided we wanted three different covers for SS to juggle with in between from a while. And it always helps to draw some fluff when not in the best moods.


Finding a title was arduous. Leila and I nearly broke our minds with that.

Hey guys! Guess what is today~

That's right! My birthday - and, coincidentally, the second anniversary of ShellShock! It's a glorious day for my friend and I, and even if this fanfic has only a small readership, we're very happy there are some who share our enthusiasm for it.

So, in order to give something nice back, here's our personal Fanmix for ShellShock! It's only a small selection, as we have lost track of all the songs we thought would fit, but yeah. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The cover itself was really arduous to do. I think this is the most accurate depiction of the Thermaflux armor I have ever done. Thanks go to ~KBABZ who kept pointing out the mistakes upon my request! he's awesome and gave me loads of refs. SO NICE!


Either way, here's some music! As for me, I shall now have a Kuzco moment and gift myself with a present for my birthday. HAH!

<sub>God... I can't believe I'm typing this right now.

I... I actually finished that wallpaper...!


This is the hardest, longest and most challenging artwork/wallpaper I have ever done. With one month spent on finishing this one, this is by far the artwork with most of my dedication in it.

About the process:
I worked on a canvas double the normal size of it - yes, 2560x1600, and it was not enough. I had to work with... 1-pixel-brushes to get Azimuth some details. It's been so long since I've painted something that big.

As you can see, there is no lineart - yes, lineart-less, how long has it been since I've had such a deviation? Ages, I tell you. Ages!
With no lineart, there is no way to hide the mistakes one makes - no smudgy lines, no white spot. And this was, for someone who is extremely sloppy like me, a huge challenge. It drove me nuts, but it was a good exercise to stay calm and redo whatever went wrong.

To the background...
I really really have to thank =neofox for all the help she's given me. Without her help, I'd have run against a wall all the time. She's helped me so much, it's already inhuman to be so helpful - but she is, and I love her to death for this.
This being Azimuth's home, I tried my best to stay true to the original. I tried my best, and even though there are some parts missing, I still am extremely proud of it. <3

To Azimuth himself...
Never. Ever. Again without lines. That mister is worse to draw than Kraz - and that really is something. He was the biggest challenge, as I spent the first and the last week on him. I had to redo him at least... ten times, and I mean redo from scratch, the pose, the perspective and the colors. I even saved one try only to laugh at its failed perspective.
Again, I have to thank Neo for all her help - she showed me how to approach him even though she was so busy at that time.

About the Artwork itself:

Alister is my favorite character from "A Crack in Time" - I loved and sympathized with him the most, and I wished there had been more time for him in the game.
Since he was exiled and left behind, I am sure that he was broken in the beginning - after all, he had to live with the fact that he was responsible for the whole Fastoon mayhem and - indirectly - for Ratchet's father's death.
However ... I'm sure that after some time, maybe years, he has found himself again - and at this moment his pride returns and he starts to think more about redeeming himself.

This is where the piece is set - when he is ready to try again and is sure to eventually find a way to bring back the Lombaxes.
You can even see some sketches of the Great Clock on the blackboards in the background!



Well... I suppose that this is all. This is my favorite deviation, and I hope you like it too. I put so much effort and time in it, I'd really appreciate a favorite and a comment.

So did I ever tell you how much I love Transformers: Prime? Or Transformers in general?


TF Prime is awesome. I fell in love with the first season, and then started to get nostalgic over it when the second season came around. Season 2 was quite disappointing, and I was almost tempted to stop watching it.

THAT IS UNTIL LAST FRIDAY'S EPISODE.

Oooooh my gosh, Knockout was awesome. Just... Awesome. He crept me out in a good way and damn - good that he's getting revenge now.

He's a good doctor, I'm sure.
