After waking up this morning and looking at the finished product, I noticed some annoying mistakes. So I just fixed it up!

Y'all didn't think I'd let the announcement of a new Ratchet game go unnoticed, did ya.

OK, so I was working on this today. First as a speedpaint [35 minutes, you can see it here: omgwtfdenny.tumblr.com/post/55... And then before bed I wanted to work on it a little...

It's now 4 hours later.

So yeah, in total I worked on that a grand 4 ½ hours! Just couldn't suppress the urge.

And, since Nexus is announced, guess I can abort this little project now. XD It's my little Nexus. Ah well.

Either way, let's all get hyped about the next big Ratchet game! Off we go - Into the Nexus.

I needed to paint a little tonight. Paint Tool SAI is still very foreign to me.

After months, the cover for the next ShellShock is chapter is done! I wanted to do something with symbolism and Shifter really badly, which ended up with me taking much longer than I had wanted to.

Shifter is also turning more and more into a bishie.

Painting took me about 1 hour.

All right, this is the final commission for this year for me!

As some of you recall, I have done another commission for pgrzelak on the IG forums. It is a complementary piece to the previous commission, both contributing to a crucial point in the plot of his story.

It was a real blast to work on. Both commissions have proven both challenging and wonderful studies in lighting and shading. The things I have learned painting those two pictures are many and important.

As for the picture itself, yes, this time it is Ratchet. :giggle:

It shows how much he resembles his father.

And with this year over, it is time to update my commission prices. Expect an update!

I really don't like SAI. It feels extremely foreign and the painting process feels really uncomfortable to me. =__= I can't wait until I get my new computer. Just two more weeks, and I'll have my new companion...

Drawing Sans is still foreign to me. I want to go full on skeleton mode, but then he doesn't look much like Sans anymore, but Sans with creepy factor. One day i'll figure it out!

I said I would make a thing out of it. Well, here I continue.

Today: The Wrathful. Weakest in the hierarchy of remaining Shapeshifters, and the most easily provoked ones. Don't screw with them, though! They'll give you one hell of a party.

So, funny story, this started out as a Gaster speedpaint. But then SAI decided to crash, I lost 80% of my work, and, annoyed that I lost half an hour's work, I decided to recreate the previous painting.

Then I realized: I really wanted to go grungy and conceptual.

I started to play around a bit, add a few things, different colors... And this is the result.

I have to be honest: I like this version much more.

50 minutes speedpaint.

So, a few months back, I was commissioned to do an speedpaint art piece for Matthew Ebel's Album "High Orbit saves the Pandas"!

The artwork is included in the artbook that has been created to celebrate the launch of the album, and I was happy to have been part of it. Here I depicted one of the robot companions appearing in the album - and as you know me, I had to put a little dark spin on his background!

Some year and a half ago, I did a speedpaint that I liked a lot. I did that predecessor when Priestess-Shauni and I were writing that particular chapter.

Fighting against Shapeshifters continously really does things to your psyche.

2 hour speedpaint.
