I entirely blame Eden-West for this. She made me think about Beelzemon again, and how much I love this guy!
... Or was I just gushing about him. Hm.

Either way, 40 minute sketch of Beelzemon, done in my livestream while a watcher talked about digimon, and I could no longer concentrate on my actual concept work.

There also used to be a time when I incessantly drew in animestyle. When I was eight or nine years old, I was obsessed with the idea of becoming a mangaka - it was at the height of manga culture in Europe, and I really thought I could be a successful mangaka. In the end I went for more realistic painting styles. I do miss it sometimes, though.

My friend, KBABZ, has been talking about a younger version of his character, Amelia, of whom I have painted my rendition a year ago. He noted that Amelia would have been rougher around the edges, and sport a different wardrobe. Since he was not sure if Amelia would have short or long hair, I was vividly speaking out for a short hair cut - and to illustrate my argument, I did a quick rendition of his character when she was younger and a streetsmart kid.

I am really liking the haircut. I think it suits her well.

Ah, the next cover for ShellShock is done! the next chapter does not have much content that I wanted to draw out, so I went for an unrelated scene for the next chapter. And since I really, really, wanted to draw the Superior again, I did just that.

It really has changed since the last time I have drawn it.
