This painting really drove me nuts. At least it was nice to draw Azimuth again.

For the past month, this painting has been the bane of my existence. I knew exactly what I wanted, but I couldn't get there. It definitely was a formative experience, and I have learned a lot about myself as an artist. At least it is done, and I have finished something noteworthy this month. Rejoice!

And yes, I have played way too much Dark Souls lately.

Follow-up to this one here:



This was a slow speedpaint. I think... 2 ½ hours? I was rusty. Forgive me. Somehow he ended up looking like Thor and Aragorn had a lovechild, and somehow Jon Snow spliced himself in.

Funny, the more I work on this series, the more I start developing the characters and the verse they exist in... Maybe that would be an interesting one to do.

I might turn this into a series and compile it in a booklet. Who would be interested?

I saw Infinity War and... it hit me hard. I haven't had such a system shock in a long time. I am SO GLAD I went into this blind. I also regret it fervently - and had to channel my feelings into a tribute. This took me about 4 hours. It's not quite spoiler-free, but also won't tell you anything substantial.

That being said, GO WATCH THE MOVIE. IT'S AMAZING. WATCH IT NOW BEFORE SOMEONE SPOILS YOU!

Third entry in the monochrome painting series! With this one I have taken a bit more time in order to get this one right. It was a lot of fun to try out some fire effects!

I think I'll make it a theme. Think I can reach 12 pieces?

So for some reason I had the asinine idea of doing an art nouveau inspired piece for Ratchet and Clank, specifically for the next chapter in ShellShock.

This was supposed to be just a very quick sketch... Instead I invested more than 15 hours in this piece!

I really love Blue Diamond's character - the way she speaks, the way she behaves, it makes me really think of Dark Souls. You all know how much of a sucker I am for Dark Souls...

Either way, the last few episodes were quite amazing to watch! I hope you enjoy my tribute to the show. I might bring some prints to the next few conventions too...

I rewatched Thor Ragnarok for the tenth time today to soothe the pain from IW. Pretty sure this is how the scene actually went down.

Will probably move this to scraps later on.
