I F I N A L L Y managed to wrestle Photoshop back under my control. I cannot tell you how RELIEVED I am that I am able to use PS and my tablet for about 80% of the time. Seriously, this makes me so happy 😇

Commission I did for someone on Facebook! They wanted me to draw their Runescape character, and it was a real blast. This speedpaint really challenged me to do a lot of new things! Perspective really is quite a challenge, but I'm learning more every time.
Commissions are currently a bit backlogged until further notice.

I am not dead. I just keep forgetting to upload on dA these days. I need to remedy that with more posts!
Been in an art slump for quite some time now, so I decided to try a different approach. I painted this on one layer and carved out the character with white paint. I really liked how it turned out!

PHEW! It has been quite some time since I last posted any art - but for a good reason! I was working on this really fun commission for a follower on Instagram/Facebook, and I am so happy that the commission likes the outcome. I am really liking the Art Nouveau style more and more - so refreshing after a while.
The prompt was to draw the two siblings, Vesper (left) and Vesemir (right) reflecting their different affinities. I liked playing with the sun/moon duality of it, and am glad that it turned out well.
For now, commissions are still closed - it is high time I get to do some personal pieces again. There will be an updated commission price chart coming in very soon too.

"For the longest time, I had two identities.
My public identity is your average suit in the masses, grinding day in, day out in an office job. It is a perfectly simple way to fit in with the crowd and get through life.
Meanwhile, my second identity I have kept secret from most people I know in real life - I am an illustrator, an artist, a passionate creative. Like the color cyan, this side of me is loud and bold. However, I was afraid that this vibrant side of me would cause waves in my public sphere - and thus I convinced myself that I could not share that part of my life with those around me.
Now, though, I realized that there was nothing wrong with being both. By suppressing part of who I am, I inadvertedly buried a part of me that makes me unique - and that would just be such a shame. This realization has been truly liberating to me.
So, this piece, and this competition is my declaration to the world. I am your everyday suit - and I am an artist.

Today I redrew the first submission I have made on deviantART back in 2007. Back then I had an OC that could control both darkness and light, and her light mode was basically a blue angel. You can see the original below!

I really wanted to push again for something outside my comfort zone today - upwards perspective and better color cohesion, as well as multiple characters just to see how well I can handle it! I am quite happy with the result. Hope you enjoy <3

Startled, the wraith could only stare at the human before it. The gentle smile on her lips that had frozen it in its steps only grew more radiant as she asked it one more time.

"Stupid human," it whispered, barely hiding the elation in its voice. "You are all the same. Too arrogant to see the cost, too spineless to follow through with the path before you. Now look at you - you forsook your blessing and traded your power for what? Playing house? Love?"
The guardian's eyes gleamed with a twinkle.
"I do not care, frankly - but I will have fun seeing you pay the ultimate price."

I loved doing this one. The visual was in my head for weeks, and I finally got to execute it! All this time, I had planned for one of the two to get devoured... but we will see how their story ends. I can't believe in 2 days the challenge is over!

I was commissioned to draw his half-elf OC conjuring up black magic. Ironically, the elf is also a paladin - and to make him use this kind of magic, you have to have done something really criminal.
